Kudos

I cannot place here enough praise to express the gratitude and admiration I have for the skill and expertise Jennifer demonstrated as the Designer for DIY’s America’s Most Desperate Landscape 2017.

She truly exceeded our expectations.

With a fierce dedication to the project and with respect for the budget, Jennifer was able to satisfy the homeowners, the network, the producers of the show – and our viewers with a visually striking backyard makeover. Her use of color, texture, materials and contours were brilliant – allowing her design to flow from patio to pool to pergola and beyond. What an accomplishment in style and execution! She incorporated what the homeowner wanted, while satisfying the needs of the show and shooting schedule. And she did all this with cameras rolling and recording every move and design choice.

If you have the chance to work with Jennifer – here is what you will discover very quickly: she is talented, thoughtful, style savvy, easy to know, and patient. That last attribute is an especially great trait when so much is riding of a color swatch or sample. She will guide and bend in equal measure. And if you let her – she will create for you a space you can call – stunning.

She helped me decorate my house in Cave Creek, AZ about 2 years ago and due to our pending move, she then helped me with staging.  By “helped me with staging” I mean she did it all!!  I am severely challenged when it comes to decorating a house and she was EXACTLY what our house needed.  She comes prepared – every time, she’s on time – every time, and has lots of ideas and choices from which to choose.

She started with decorating our girls’ rooms and we thought that would be it.  But when we saw the changes she made, we were sold on her.  She listened to my girls and included every detail that meant something to them, more importantly, she provided so many more ideas than we could imagine. Nobody in our family got the decorating gene!

After completing my girls’ rooms, we moved on to the family room where the windows needed some serious love! With 20 foot ceilings and very large windows, she had her work cut out!!  To meet the challenge, she brought book after book of fabric samples from which to choose!! After the draperies were finished, she suggested adding tassels – they really brought the look together! With her decorator discount, the value added to our home far outweighed the cost.

When it came time to put our house on the market, she helped again with staging.  EVERY touring realtor comment reflected how beautiful my house was and that the decorating was fantastic!!

I would recommend her to anyone who wants to decorate a room or a new house; change up a decorating style; finish the decorating you started but couldn’t finish; or – stage for selling a house to get maximum value.  She is cost conscious, on time and professional!!  Now that I’ve moved away, I need her to come to my new house!!
